The Avalon - Stone Harbor Sharks athletic program is built on the belief that sports can help shape confident, well-rounded students. Open to students in grades 5 through 8, our program encourages positive growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship through cross country, basketball, cheer, baseball, and softball. Whether trying a sport for the first time or building on years of experience, every student has a chance to contribute, grow, and represent the Sharks with pride.

Athletics are a powerful way to connect our school and community. Games bring families, classmates, and neighbors together to support our student-athletes and celebrate their hard work. These shared experiences help foster a strong sense of unity and belonging that lasts long after the final whistle.

We believe the lessons learned through sports – perseverance, respect, leadership, and commitment – carry over into every part of a student’s life. By building character and community through athletics, we’re preparing our Sharks not just for success on the scoreboard, but for life beyond the game.
